re: What made you buy your Crossfire
The first one my local dealer had, he placed in his showroom and held an open house for all his new models...I went over and fell in love with the car. I kept looking at it and checking it out and my wife kept trying to pull me away as we could not really afford it at the time! The owner had taken the second one he received for himself, so he and I went for a test drive, even if he knew I could ot afford one right away! I was a good customer.....what can I say!
I told him that it was too bad that they did not make a convertible and he told me they were coming the following year.... I swore then, that I would own one someday!
I loved the car since then and always told my wife that one day I would buy a Crossfire... Last year, I finally decided that could afford to treat myself. I sold my 1974 Triumph Spitfire and finally bought a 2007 Crossfire convertible...and I haven't regretted it. I love the car still, it drives great, looks outstanding and I will still own it when it becomes a classic!
