Please let us know if you have any suggestions for content. I think we’ve covered pretty much all the ground we need to at the moment as far as sections and categories go. We’ll obviously keep it up to date with details of upcoming meets, but other stuff such as maintenance etc. needs to be fleshed out more.
Oh - want to see something
truly,
exceptionally cool? We’re using CoolIris on the galleries.
1 - Go to one of the Galleries. I’ll link to one for simplicity here:
Galleries - Billing Aquadrome, 2009
2 - You can click on the pictures, and they will open nicely in the browser window.
But wait, that’s
NOT the cool bit.
3 - Click on the small Green/Blue icon to the bottom right of one of the thumbnails in the gallery.
4 - A NEW kind of gallery will open. Click on the link TOP RIGHT that says VIEW THIS IN 3D
5 - You will be taken to the CoolIris web page and will be prompted to download and install a browser plugin. Do this, restart your browser and go back to the gallery page.
6 - Now click on that blue/green icon bottom right of the images.
This was all just shockingly easy to install on the site too.
Caveat: if you are one of the lucky Mac users running Snow Leopard, this will not work in Safari running in 64-bit mode. You will need to restart Safari in 32-bit mode, or try Firefox. We’ll have to wait for CoolIris to catch up.
