I needed to snake it through the hole in the ECU box under the hood through the firewall so it needed an extension.

Glad to see you're making progress. FYI, spend a lot of time on MAF simulation and get that bugger ironed out before you start getting to far into it. It will make things a lot easier later on if you're using just the MAP on the AEM to change your fuel maps.

Good luck and let me know if you have any questions.
You know, maybe I worded that wrong/bad. I just got your parts in yesterday. What I meant to say is that I have collected the majority of what I need to get started (I meant "in" to mean that I have it in hand), now I just need time. So much so, that I'm burning a week of vacation to try and get caught up. It seems like every time I turn around I have something else that I need to do to get free and clear.

In my excitement, I was hoping to be able to jump on this much faster but I have to be fair to those that have been waiting for me patiently on other projects. I also have a custom turbo to put on a car that sat in some shop for 7 years, but I plan on working that in with my car. And yes, that isn't a typo, this poor guy left his car at a shop for 7 years along with 10k of his money and when he got it back it was stripped. Just two weeks before the shop filed for bankruptcy the owner had promised this guy he would make good on their deal. In the end, the spyder owner ended up having to pay another 1k to get his car out of storage and someone had given it the once over stealing everything he had paid for and more!

I didn't want anymore spyder work, but I felt so bad for him I had to offer to help get him back on the road. It is a humdinger of a story.

BTW - Rcompart you mentioned a cheat sheet that you had for installing the AEM. Do you mind emailing that to me so that I can take a look? Any shortcuts you can provide would be greatly appreciated. And yes, I was looking at the wires yesterday and I'm hoping that I can see most of the labels once I pull off the shrink tubing. I could on the few that I tested so I think it will be ok.

As far as the Rotrex goes, it is going to be tight. I have to throttle down the intake side anyway with a restrictor so I'm hoping that I can squeeze a reducing silicone 90 in between the rotrex and the shock tower. If not, it isn't a deal breaker by any means, it just gets more complicated.

I had planned on running the rotrex off the existing pulley system in that position. If it won't make it, I'll have to add a pulley to the crank and/or water pump. I didn't want to have to go that route because that means that I will have to make a pulley and mounting bracket with an integrated tensioner (and potentially modify the fan shroud) versus just a mounting bracket.

Oh well, one step at a time!
