I was thinking exactly what Lug Nut was thinking. You can't use the jack points for the jack and the jack stand at the same time. I've jacked up the rear at the differential very gingerly. The front I set the jackstand right next to my floor jack and set it just in case the floor jack does collapse the jack stand will catch the car. My jackstand also has a pin in it that would catch it if it fails.
But the question still remains............?
