Got the car back yesterday. So far it's ok. Here's what the tech wrote on the repair order...
Check coolant lamp on..found radiator fan module shorted internally and found fan motor burnt out. Replace fan module and program. Remove fan shroud assembly, remove fan blades and drill out old fan motor. Install new fan motor with wiring kit. Install blades. Reinstall fan shroud back into vehicle and test.
OK after repairs.
New parts added...module for fan assembly, fuse, fan relay. fan motor.

All done under warranty but I suspect this would have cost about $700 to fix if I had to pay for it. Dealer had the car for 6 days. I put 650 miles on the loaner they gave me.
