The problem is that MB also added a port that is 30 something pin to hook up to STAR DAS. this conection is usually in the fuse box. For cars that have this connection DAS expects you to hook up to it. I am checking to see if this is a problem and thinking about a plan B if it is.
Perhaps this ODB -> ODB II adapter will be a solution?
