Yes this is fairly OT, but Let's face it, the iphone IMO is one of the best inventions in recent technology. Others have tried to copy it, but fail miserably. It has so much versatility and until you actually use it to it's fullest capabilities, you won't understand. There are so many "Apps" that are just jaw dropping! How could one device do so much?! I won't get into all the cool things this little device does, but if you own an iphone, here are some great apps for you and your 6.
- Dynolicious (Measure your HP, 1/4, 60ft, 0-60, skidpad, G's etc....kinda Like the G-tech Pro and is very accurate! $14.99??)
- REV (a scanner, datalogger, 0-60, G's......Read And clear codes. Datalog and record each run. Very Very useful. $150 for the kiwi wifi device and $39.99 for the App).
-idrag (I just picked this little gem up for $.99! It does just about every calculation there is! Calculate HP, G-forces, dynamic engine compression, spring rates, lateral weight transfers, 1/4 and 1/8 mile estimates based on HP and weight of the vehicle or 1/8mile time and MPH for your estimated 1/4mile time. Injector sizing, Power to weight, Intercooler Efficiency etc etc. There is a ton of conversions on here, but the best thing and the reason I purchased this app was because there is a built in DA calculator. Meaning, I can go to the track, hit "look up weather" and it will tell me my weather (DA, Temp, Hum, Bar, Dew Point etc....for My location). A Very useful app for me as I can make notes on each pass.
-idrag slip (I haven't purchased this yet, but I think I may. It's only $.99 and its basically a personal timeslip management/database app. Meaning, you plug all the numbers from each timeslip in and it shows statistics, Avg's, notes etc...). Could come in handy as timeslips add up to a mess of paper and confusion!
Anyway, I am bored and these are my "App" recommendations.
