You stepped WAY, WAY, WAY down to a Crossfire from an NSX? Mmmmm...it's becoming clear...there's a bit of day dreaming going on here, methinks.

I've driven a Diablo, an X180R, a Ferrari 330, a Ferrari F40, a Shelby GT350 race prepped, a REAL Shelby 427 Cobra, Caterham w/full Cosworth setup (courtesy of Dennis Simon). Where are you going with this? Are you suggesting that the Crossfire is in the Esprit/NSX/Elise/Porsche/Vette/Viper/class? C'mon, you seem like a bright guy...get real.

The NSX is a nice car. A high speed Honda. Too perfect. No character. Not nearly as quick as a S4 4 cylinder Esprit, and humbled by the twin turbo V8's. The Elise spanks it on a road course. That's not just me, that's really always been the rap against the NSX...it's simply got too clinical a feel. That, and it goes through its very expensive tires every 2000 miles. I had my Esprit parked next to an NSX in a Gucci Giant parking lot, and people climbed over the NSX to look at and paw the 'dated' Giugiaro bodied 84 Esprit. The NSX owner was quite crest fallen.

You just don't get it Dan. Sorry, you just don't get it. Why not put a CROSSFIRE foil logo along your rockers...that's all your car is missing. Varooooommm... For godsakes, you're arguing the merits of an automatic transmission sports car with a recirculating ball steering rack. Do you have any idea how silly that sounds?
Kusheen you are great. Finally someone who doesnt have their head where you know where and does nothing but blindly defending the crossfire. People on this forum dislike me because I tell it like it is. And you hit it right on. Dan I didnt know you got rid of your NSX(another overpriced car) for the crossfire. LOL And I thought getting rid of my 911 for a s2000 was bad.

In the NSX defense, the NSX is more reliable than that of the Esprit S4 or that of the TT V-8. A friend of my dad's had the esprit and had alot of problems. Granted for looks, and performance you can't beat it.

I would trade my underperforming XF for a new elise in a heartbeat. Anyone in their right mind would. Its a performance benchmark. There isn't one segment where the crossfire is better in terms of performance. Except maybe in comfort, and I'm not that comfortable in the XF as it is, so I might as well get some or in terms of the Elise alot of performance for that trade off.

Kusheen, what did you think of the caterham? I have always wanted to drive one of those.
