Default What to use (lowering)

I’m in the process of deciding on my next performance enhancing modification and would enjoy hearing advice from the knowledgeable, not so knowledgeable and experiences of those that have already traveled down this path. Currently I’m thinking lowering springs and the required camber kit. I already have Koni shocks on all corners and the Mercedes camber bolt kit in the front. I have 10mm spacers on the front with 235/40/18 on the stock rims and 265/35/19 on the rear stock rims with no spacers.

Looking at springs first. My searches turned up Eibach as the most popular. I’ve looked at Intrax, B&G, ST, Sprint springs,Vogtland, H&R and Hypercoil. My goal is the best spring for track days that won’t kill me on the 1 hour drive each way to the track. I also need to know more or less when interference with the fender occurs. The front is pretty wide with the spacers. No rubbing at the stock height but who has a wider track in the front with a lowered car? How wide and how low? I want to lower the center of gravity as much as possible without buggering up the suspension geometry. But I don’t know when that occurs. From what I found it seems 2” is the maximum with most in the 1” area. Another reason I’m unsure what to do is the stock springs don’t dive on braking or roll much at all cornering. In other words I think they’re almost perfect except for the height.

I can’t find spring rates.
Regular Crossfires are 303 front and 337 rear.
Srt-6’s are 451 front and 480 rear.

The Mercedes forum says the Eibachs and AMG springs are so close to the same thing that putting Eibachs in an AMG is throwing your money away. I would guess the same applies to SRT’s and Eibachs, but I don’t know for sure.

What do you think about buying Hypercoils that are 1” shorter than SRT springs but with the same rate, height and coil size? You can have them made any spring rate you want and they cost the same or less than what’s packaged for Crossfires. Opinions? (I don’t know much about spring construction)

Next the rear camber kits. Kmac is on the list. Sportybenz and a couple others make camber adjustable upper links or arms. Any advantage to using the Kmac kit which pulls the tire in at the bottom or the upper arms or links that push the top of the tire out? Just wondering.

Please help me think clearly and make the right decisions.
