"How does one read the oil temperature with a scan tool? Which scan tool should one use?"
Anyone know the answer to this? I have a "regular" OBDII/CAN scanner, and want to check my trans fluid for the first time. There's a fill-level vs. fluid temperature plot in the FSM, so the trans temperature is needed.
Have the Miller dipstick ($25 from eBay) and a hopefully lifetime supply of four new locks (less than $1 each) ready to go.
