If you're going to turbo your car, you need some way of getting more fuel into the engine. I know the e-manage can take care of the fuel and timing to a degree but you also need some way of monitoring and compensating for the addition of boost and you'll need to keep the MAF sensor from seeing it as well. That is why you'd want to invest in a piggyback like an FIC or unichip. I've worked with both and the FIC is a pretty slick little unit.

Well it's been proven that you don't need a piggy back for a turbo setup on these cars. Eurocharged/LET has a turbo SRT6 at over 500rwhp. So I would go with no, you don't need a piggyback for your ECU...unless there is something about a rear setup that would make it any different...
They did that turbo setup on a car that was already using forced induction, they just changed the manner in which it occurred from using a supercharger to using a turbo. Obviously it was more difficult than just taking off the supercharger and throwing in a turbo but the computer already reads boost and actually loves it but the NA doesn't like to see boost.
