FYI, valet key = $35 at local lock smith
great for opening doors and not breaking glass!
I used to put a hidden key on all my cars in very hard to find spots. The last time I locked myself out I had forgotten where I had put the key, so I started to think of all the places it could be, no luck.
It went to the wreckers with a well hidden key. So I do not bother anymore.
My wife had to come to the golf course with a spare. She was not too pleased, so I reminded her of the times she forgot to put her old Mustang in park and when it would not start she'd called a truck to jump the battery, not once but three times. First words from the truck guy "Is it in park?", OOPS, second words "$25 please".
