Default Re: p0410 secondary air injection system malfunction solution?

No it isn't that difficulty to change. I got a new one from Mercedes Benz. It turned out to be $24.00. Chrysler wants $50.00 for it.

I swapped out the old one and put in the new one. Just carefully pull the blue valve off. There is an arrow on it so you know which direction to re-install it.

The mercedes and chrysler valve look the same. just make sure to get the valve for the SLK 2004+ model if you do mercedes.

I also figured if i am going to have to replace something might as well start with the cheapest part.

I have already been quoted an astronomical price for the air pump install by the stealership.
