Default Re: SRT as daily driver

My driving "schedule" is very similar to yours, though my drive to work is a bit
longer at 35 miles each way. About 1/3rd of that trip is country/backroads and
the rest is down I-75 through Atlanta. I've been making that trip every work day
since I bought the car in '04 and have racked up over 76,000 miles. I've also
taken this car to my old home of Va. Beach a few times.

All that said, I've always been happy with the way the SRT-6 rides. The only
place where I've had any discomfort was on portions of I-95 in NC and I-64
around the Norfolk, Va. area. In each of these places, there are expansion
joints in the roadway that you hit every second or so, for long stretches, and
this can really jar your teeth. However, I'll say this. I've always found these
sections of highway be uncomfortable, no matter what I've driven over them
with.

It is true that the Crossfire, in general, likes smooth, fresh laid blacktop, but
for the most part the rough roads are not much worse than in any other sports
car. If any. This is my daily driver, and will be until the wheels fall off (and
then I'll get a new set of wheels to mount up ).
