Are you sure it's a transmission leak, or just engine oil leak/spill?
Glovebox may be on a different circuit than the cig lighter - could be a loose wire on the back of it.
Which window seal?
Idle problem - are your air filters clean?

Brake pads - any competent garage can change them.
