Idling: Whar gasoline are you burning? Agree with checking the air filter. Has it always done this?

Brake pads, you may want to get the Rotex pads yourself as any garage will want to sell you what they have in stock or order from their regular supplier(s).

Check the trans fluid level...Low?

I won't be much help on the other items only had mine about a month...
