Good info. I have switched to OEM rotors that I bought at the MB dealer last week and everything is quiet now. Oddly, MB lists left and right rotors but the number is now the same. the parts guy said that the original rotors numbers have been replaced with a single number. So the new rotors are technically both left handed. I put them on the car and now everything is smooth and quiet. Any need some almost Disc Italia's or disc Chinaebay? They both squealed on my car. The disc Italia which everyone thinks are so great were not as good as the ebay rotors in my opinion. The ebay rotors had better zinc platting which helped prevent rust. the disc Italia rusted right up were the pads didn't contact them. Other than that they are identical. It is common prctice for companies to buy cheap rotors from china and then run them through the CNC machine for drilled and slotted, then zinc plate them and sells them as some great quality rotor. I would suggest that anyone buying after market rotors, find out where the foundry is. Chinease rotors are the worst quality, while Japan, USA and Europe make very good rotors.
