I suppose I should have been more clear in my posts. What I wrote in previously in this thread was more for the knowledge and benefit of others who may be following this thread or who are looking for a set of rotors. I wouldn't buy disc italia rotors and certainly not chinese made rotors. Why would anyone by cheepo rotors off of ebay? If you can't afford proper brakes on the car, I;d go as far to say you can't afford a car--not even a crossfire, but any car. Brakes are the most important safety aspect of a car (well maybe tied with tires depending on your view). The last place to cheap out and buy knock-off is the brakes. It's good to see that you bought some quality brake parts for your car though! I hope others will follow your lead.

As far as TUV-ISO cert. This only applies to parts sold in Eurpope and cannot be used to judge parts that are sold only in the USA as there would be no reason to get this certification if you are not marketing your parts in Europe. TUV-ISO means nothing to 99.9% of americans. BTW, my Vogtland Springs do have the certification but of course they are made in Germany.
Actually it can be used to judge rotors. There is a minimum level of quality required for that certification. I'm not aware of any minumum quality required for brakes in the US. Which is horrible, IMO. So if I'm buying US-made or Chinese-made rotors the level of quality is unknown. They could be fantastic or crap. Who knows. With the certified German products you know there is at least a basic level of quality that are not associated with products made in the countries I listed. Now, I don't know about you, but the last thing I want to do is take chances with my brakes. I'd like to spend my money on important items that are made within a system where quality is an absolute requirement. Just because the US doesn't use the system is irrelevant. If there are certain minimum standards in place to ensure adequate brake performance in one country, I don't see how the objectivity of the individual standards would not be relevent in other countries.

IMO, if automotive parts in Germany need to withstand a certain amount of abuse because of stresses placed upon said parts in the unllimited sections of the autobahn, then those same parts should hold up even better in the US where there are few if any unrestricted roads.
