You may want to investigate.

Disconnecting and reconnecting battery resets computer module to new airflow was the jist of the instructions.

I guess you can disregard my previous post regarding resetting computer module because the latest K&N site instructions for changing the PT intake air flow system simply says to disconnect negative cable on battery (presumably for safety reasons) and then at the end instructs to re-connect battery cable. No mention of computer module.

With K&N filter swap, you don't even have to disconnect battery (according to instructions).

I know I not mistaken as far as reading those other instructions a couple of years ago but it is quite possible that was erronious information at the time.
