Default Discovered the Problem.........

After putting her thru the paces in an empty parking lot, when turning the steering wheel to max right turn- I heard the noise- went back thru the paces with hard right and brake engaged heard the noise again.

Turning the wheels to hard left with and without brakes no noise.

Now concentrating on hard right turns as soon as I heard the noise I stopped the car- got out with steering wheel turned hard right, the tire is rubbing the inner wheel well!

These are stock size General UHP new tires- I inspected the wheel well (passenger side front) and does not appear to have any diffence from the driver side, I am baffled as to why it is rubbing.

My friend has a repair shop so when I get a chance I will put the car up in the air with the tire off to see what is going on, never wrecked, haven't hit anything.

One thing the stock Contis tire tread was not as agressive as the Generals- so the noise must have started when I put the Generals on but didn't notice as I usually have the stereo on.

The good news is there isn't any damage occuring to the wheel well or tire- and now I know that it isn't the rear end or bearings causing it!

Thanks for the feedback- if I discover what is going on with the wheel well I will let you know so if it happens to yours you know what to do.
