do a dry burnout...after driviing around pit. Lower psi, not sure if you want to go that low. If the guy next to you is running slicks and warming up in pit, I like to pause a bit before my own burn out so my tires aren't all cooled down by time he is done.
You'll stll need to feather, so I'd say sit at 1200-1500 rpm power brake, wait until last yellow and part thrittle until you hook, then hammer it. Practice a bit before you go there to get used to it. I used Nitto Drs a lot...DRs are just a bt better than reg performance radials..they do hook better tho. I'd get .1-.2 better 60' with them.
