I've only drove an E55 at the track with Nitto dr's. They were around 20psi, and for them to hook up I drove around the water box and did an NHRA burnout dry, 8 secs. Lit them up really good and ran an 11.88 in AZ DA. Definitely wouldn't last doing that for every pass, so get your launch down and get them really sticky for one pass. Just hope the track has some prep to it.
