Is it possible for the water to be coming in around the rear lights? It could just trickle across the trunk floor (boot?) and then go into the pocket in the foam tray.
Another possibility would be a leak from the wheel well as that is adjacent to the pocket directly.
I will look closer at the lights tonight and maybe I just need to get out the garden hose and soak it good and the check again ,i will check the lights , never thought of that, thanks
