I had nearly 80 entries for the 2010 Calendar.
Many of them did not meet resolution requirements.
For next year, for best results,
- the small calendar (11 x 8.5), min 2000 pixels wide are needed.
- the large calendar (17 x 11), min 3400 pixels wide are needed.
Some of the pics I cheated on and hope they come out as needed.
So keep that in mind when you come across that great pic, set your
camera as high as it will go for that one great picture or two.
When I presented the pics to the judges, I had them keep several things
in mind. I wanted a good "cross" section of types and colors of Crossfires.
Backround was important, but not as much as the type, color, brightness,
composition, & clarity of the CROSSFIRE. I hope you will like them.
I created 3 calendars to give as many members as possible a chance
to make one of the calendars. If you didn't make it this year, there
is always next year, so keep trying.
I had to create two stores because CafePress would not allow duplicate
items in the same store (small calendar).
So please be sure to check both stores while there.
A link in each store is there to get to the other.
Shipping for one calendar seemed on the high side, but on multiple
items it did not go up much at all.
There is "ZERO" markup on these items. Therefore they are priced
as cheaply as can be. I will not make a single penny on these and
didn't want to. I will be buying them just like you.
I hope you like them. If Tom decides not to do it again next year,
I will be available if needed. James
