I don't get the difference in prices between the stores. They all use the same central computer system.
My copy of the sales slip is in the photo, so I was not dreaming about the price.
Just for jollies, i'm stopping at another Advance Auto Parts Store in town, and see if I can get those filters as part of the Castrol oil / Purolator Filter promotion they are running. 5 quarts of oil and a Puralator filter for a combo price.
I'll let you know. Although I too have enough oil and filters downstairs to last me quite a while. I was worried that Mobil 1 0-W40 was going to disappear, so I really stocked up on the last Mobil 1 sale. Just can't resist a great deal.. Probably a better investment than a CD now.
