Just another money grabber. Just like "Z-Max, STP, RESTORE, Slick 50, Marvel Mystery Oil, Lucas Oil Stabilizer, ProLong, Duralube, etc." Each one will protect your engine... so does routine maintenance and it won't void your warranty.
The owners manual says not to use any additives in the engine oil. I would say if you're not having a problem then don't add anything.

Do not add materials (other than leak detection dyes) to
engine oil. Engine oil is an engineered product and its
performance may be impaired by supplemental additives.
My philosophy is to do your routine maintenance and keep an eye on your fluids then you won't need any additives or miracle formulas.
