Default Re: Check engine light

I installed the PTE over the summer. I have gotten the same CEL code several times over the last 2 weeks. If it is below 60 outside I get a CEL.
I sent Patrick an email to see if he had any thoughts on it, but I haven't been able to check my emails at home or work this week. I should be able to this evening. I will report back what he says. If it keeps it up I am going to put the OEM T-Stat back in until the summer. Bit of a PITA....

Edit: I just had an opportunity to check my email. Sure enough Patrick from PTE had responded. This guy really stands behind his product(s).

I am going to try driving it without the a/c or heat turned on until it warms up to see what impact that has on it. Patrick recommended that I give that a try. It makes sense - I should have thought of it to give it a try.

If this doesn't work, he has offered to exchange the one I have. Again, great guy, pleasure doing business with him.

I will report back when the temps drop again and I am in the car.

Cheers,
KrzyFast
