I believe all the headers available show little gain in HP (one is less I believe) with a large loss in wallet weight. Not a good buy unless you have pretty much everything else (at least last time I was reading about them anyway)
As far as fit goes I think the roadster is a harder install because of extra bracing and such but not 100% sure.
I pretty much agree with you as most stock engines need a certain amount of back presure to make torque. The exhaust manifolds do look restrictive and is probably a reason we don't see much of any gain with cat back systems.
I would like to have a set of headers but would want to install hotter cams at the same time.
