Default Re: Limited Slip Differential

To my knowledge the Quaife is a high end true/full LSD. However they do not make one to fit the Crossfire rear end. A lot of people wish they did however.

The Kleeman is very similar if not the same as the PG. The Kleeman is just more expensive. Look at Kleeman's website and PG's website. Both companies use springs and square metal blocks to "engage" both rear axles to try to eliminate the peg leg. I guess it can be described as an artificial LSD? Talk to Woody, he has a PG installed and really seems to like it.

i.e. in 5,000 miles or so, my driver's side rear tire has at least 1/32 less tread than the passenger side tire. (just took the summer's off for winter's)

The only to artificial LSD's that I know of are Phantom Grip, and Quaife. Waldig has phantom grip on his, get his opinion on it. I hadn't heard about Kleeman making a LSD for our cars, and haven't heard of the other two companies in relation to anything MB or SRT6.... Kleeman always charges an arm and a leg too, not worth it IMO.
