We just drove the new SLK350 today, which is a lot heavier than the crossfire, and frankly the difference wasnt worth the extra money.. infact the acceleration seemed to be very docile.. we figured the wider tires on the Crossfire had something to do with this.. all in all the car we tested was just shy of 50k and seeing as you can buy a new crossfire for 27k or less .. it doesnt take a rocket scientist long to figure the Crossfire is good value
