Maybe I missed a post somewhere, or I didn't get the memo, but I thought Psuperti's car was the only NA car breaking into the 13's, and that was on the bottle.
Has there been some secret 1/4 mile testing going on out there in the midwest that we're only now beginning to hear about?
By the way, you should copyright "The Crossfire was built for the Dragon not Draggin" statement.
I completely agree with Oledoc's opinion that a reasonably well driven NA car can hang with the "Big Dogs" on a road like the Dragon (and some of its surrounding byways), but throw in too many longer straightaways, and it's
adios amigo..

I'm braggin' just a little and maybe overstepping. I haven't gone to the track, yet. Was going last Friday but it was cancelled for weather. I know better than to post withiout a real trap ticket to back it up. Just couldn't help myself with the $100K remark.

But the measured quarter mile of unused road by my place has teased me enough that I did some unofficial sprints. I think I'm close to gettin under 14, (just), without a bottle.
I was 193 HP at the wheel last summer on the dyno. 90F degrees. That's 25% more HP than a stock NA.
We now have 60F degree cool dense air.
Stock SRT is what, 230 HP at the wheel? I'm close.
Stock NA is 14.7 sec, so I'm close theoreticaly. I think.

Meanwhile, I agree that in the twisties talent and agility matter. I do keep up with Oledoc on the Dragon but not the Hellbender section.
And keep in mind, I run with an SRT companion often. Like every day. Cathy just grins and shuts me down on anything straighter than the Dragon.

We do the a 1/4 mile drag to get on the the highway every day. She is 2to3 car lengths ahead every time. I'm working the shifter like a rented mule and she hasn't even pushed the the OMG button.
But then, she is a 12 second car.

So yeah, I know the difference.

BTW didn't you have a thread that theoreticaly showed it was possible?
