Ive cut an 8"x4.5" piece of gray leather, 4.5 wraps around the pull and 8" wont drown out the steel of the pull (balanced look). Then Ive cut black leather strips that will fold over the ends and cover aprox 1/2...they will be sewn on. Im going to use a hole punch to make eyelets and find something to simply lace them up on the inside/towards the door panel where its not visible. Im not to concerned about having to remove them if I need to split open the door pull. If they come out ok then cool, if not thats ok too cause Ive managed to keep busy one more rainy cold October day
