Default Its all in the mind

Why do the USA folk keep harping on about the Xfires performance ? I have driven in the states and the average road speeds are much slower than the UK and Europe. So where do you need all this power you don’t think you have ?

I’ve managed to get mine up to 140mph – and that was fast enough for me. I don’t get overtaken much on the moterways, unless I’m slowing down. The car has plenty of performance.

I think it’s because in the states you have great big engines (not that efficient) poking out lots of bhp – but the cars out there just don’t drive well, or fast, or around bends. So is it standing starts at traffic lights that is the problem ?
