In other words whoever is backing is at fault, not sure in Virginia but we do get an awful lot of backing in the parking lot claims. Mine was something stupid, I was told to move my car in a dealer lane and the kid who asked me to move it also moved a rental car (backing) at the same time. I probably could have argued the point he told me to move my car but knowing the law and working in insurance I just decided to deal with it.
Pat....no law on the books that I know, will do some research. In my previous thread the reason that I was so pissed is that I had the top down..... no blind spots and he could clearly see that my head was turned. The XLR with the top up has the same blind spots as the XFire but not as much, the rear window is much wider.
