Honestly, I don't think the person that wrote this is a truly seasoned car guy. In fact, a person who really knows his stuff would steer clear of making a list like this in the first place. It's far too subjective in nature. He obviously hated the idea of the car/truck convergence, IE, the El Camino and such. Little cars seem to be another sore spot. One example being the Pinto. While being a historical flop of sorts, is actually a cute little car. Small, foreign, commuter cars, while funny to look at, were never meant to be high art. And were a waste of space on this list. He should have saved them for a list of cars clowns might be seen exiting. Altogether, I would say there are a lot of hits and misses. Many of them, if not all are on the list for personal reasons. It looks as if it were thrown together by one person with a few coffee table books, and meager experience with automobiles.
