Default Manual Transmission Fluid: No service is required???

Hi Gang, --NOTE: this started as an *off topic* on SRT6, moved it here--

Question about MT6.....on cold weather the 2nd gear is hard to get and after reviewing recent posts about the shape of fluid differential i don't believe the "No service is required" part on our manual trans....(see service manual excerpt below)

Manual Transmission Fluid
No service is required or recommended for the manual transmission. If required, use fluid approved to MB 236.2.
SAE 5W-20 meeting API SL or GF-3 Engine Oil, such as Mopar part number 04761872AB, may be subsituted.

Question: May a Mobil1 extended performance 5w-20 do the trick? Or stick with Mopar (i.e:P/S fluid from mopar is the Pentosin CH11 S and so on...)

Diid anybody service it's manual trans, i know lots did the differential. I'm just scared to death with the specs, double clutch slowing down at traffic lights feels like tranny is moving a lot of fluid but only calls for 1.9 qts...hence the question about viscosity.

"Manual Transmission Fluid 1.8 L (1.9 qts.)"
