The governing issue is not wheel well clearances, but the
OEM rim width. The widest tire recommended to be mounted on the 19"X9" OEM rim is 285mm.
Going up to 295 is a bit of a stretch, so to speak, and is simply an ill-advised installation. So your plan is a good one.
