Thanks Inferno. I traveled to California in 1978 in my friends 1975 280Z. (with no AC) and I remember quite well how effecient those louvers were at keeping the interior temps down.
(even with vinyl seats)
As a matter of fact, he still has them on his car today. (But he did break down and have factory air installed not long after we got back from Calif.)
