Default some simple DIY low cost mods

In an attempt to save $ and relieve bordom, Iv found some eaisily applied mods. First one I took an old photo and made a template of under the glovebox latch. Applied chrome film (came in a roll about 8"x7') on top of the template and siliconed the whole thing in there. Not to much silicone because it will tend to ooze out and look bad. The pic doesnt show it but its a nice touch. the film is casting a reflection on the bottom from the camera's flash

Here I took thumbtacks and pulled the nail part out. Siliconed them and they have been fine for over a year. Helps feel your way around the switch at night too.
