Default Installed SRT-6 spring on Limited

I finally got around to halfway installing my SRT-6 Springs on my Limited this weekend.
Got the rears done first since they were the easiest.

Upon removal of the stock springs I found out that the SRT-6 springs are an inch shorter than the stock limited springs. So I managed to lower the car as well as stiffen it up.

The car hasn't really had time to settle because I keep putting it on the lift, but from what I can tell it around a 1.5" drop in the rear. I already had the thinnest spring pad on the car as well.

As far as handling goes, at your typical surface street speeds its not noticable unless you get into big bumps, potholes ,etc. It's very noticable at highway/high speeds. Car feels more planted, more precise.

UPDATE 11/21

Put the fronts on tonight at the shop. All I have to say is without a lift and a transmission jack this would have been totally impossible. Took 4 hours to do the fronts, if you include the beer run and exclude the stop at steak and shake (where my iPhone was stolen :/)

I also trimmed 1 coil off of the fronts since theres no way in hell I'm going to pull the front end back apart until I get my 1 dot spring pads (my stock fronts are 3 dot atm)

Overall, its like night and day. Car is much more stable and smooth. Rides like it should have to begin with. You can now feel every expansion joint, ripple, etc. Car doesnt wallow or wander.

Examples:

Highway interchange, broad downhill right hand sweeper. Normally at 65 the car would just feel unstable and wobbly. Tonight I took the same interchange at 95 without a single issue.

Exit ramp to get to my house. Uphill decreasing radius right hander. Normally at 55-60 the car would push and get loose, now I can take it at 70 and thats pretty much it due to tire limits.

I offically love this car again. Body roll is gone, and a 2nd gear clutch kick no longer results in the car flopping around, but immediate loss of rear wheel traction

also alot more stable from dig launches, before it would wallow, now it just spins the rears and takes off like a rocket.

Will have photos tomorrow. I hope
