Damn all of you non-NJ drivers. $980 a year for insurance. I wish. I don't have any points on my license. Clean record. I'm 20, and as the Prudential Insurance Agent told me the Crossfire "is a rather expensive car for a 20 year old to be driving", and add the fact that I am on my own insurance policy, and not married, and you basically can take your insurance rate and triple it. And then you can pay them that twice a year. My good driver, and good student discounts don't even dent it. The only good news is that in February, my rate will go down $1000 a year, and by the time I'm 25 it should settle down to a total of around $1500 a year (if I were 25 today). Pretty crazy. I have tried shopping around, and there are VERY few car insurance companies that will still do business in NJ, with more dropping out every year. I have tried shopping around, and Prudential was the cheaper of the two who would actually insure a 20 year old driver with a Crossfire. As soon as I'm out of college, I'm moving down to Florida...
