Is there a thread on the way Woody did it? The tech said the CAN is for diagnostics only, so severing it would do nothing to shut it off.
I thought that if i clamped the voltage going to the steering wheel angle sensor, since the ESP engages off voltage increase, it might work. I kind of only want the lateral part of the sensor disabled, I would still like it to save my *** if I'm sliding out of control. Like taking my throttle away would do much though.
The sensor is located in the center console behind the shifter. I will get a pic asap
