I only had 12000 milea on the OEM pads. I changed all four BUT I suspect that just changing the fronts will eliminate the dust on the wheels. My back wheels did not seem to have as bad a problem with dust as the front ones.

I hope someone with more professional experience will answer the question of whether you need to replace all pads at the same time. I will stop this PM at my mechanic for his thoughts on this.
