Have not gotten to any "calibration" point because it does not make it through disk one (yet). I thought calibration was after the unit was set up with both disks, I was going to program a local town and drive there. Am I wrong in that assumption?
Have you got the manual? if not it is in the same thread as the disks are down loaded from.
When the systems starts up it will look for satellites, I assume yours has done that already.
It will not work until you put in the #1 disk (your area) and you go for a ride, it should just flash while it figures it all out. This is the calibration.
Loading disk#1 and #2 does nothing until you have it calibrated and you will only use disk #2 if you travel to the area covered by disk #2.
