I have tried loading disk one first. Disk error comes up after a few minutes. I then tried disk 2 and it worked great until it asked for disk one, then in putting disk one in it comes up disk error after a few minutes again. I might just try removing the unit (complete power down) and let it sit for a few (drain all caps internally) and start anew with the error free disks. Maybe something is glitched in it from the first set of error prone disks I tried before switching to the laptop and getting error free disks from that system.
More to come after I try the removal and wait method (with the error free CD-R's).
Have not gotten to any "calibration" point because it does not make it through disk one (yet). I thought calibration was after the unit was set up with both disks, I was going to program a local town and drive there. Am I wrong in that assumption?
