Well I was always lukewarm about the feel and aesthetics of the factory auto stick **** that came on my car. So today my Momo Tube shift **** arrived in the mail. The model I chose is chrome with black leather inserts, they also come in different leather colors and a brushed finish.

I popped off the existing **** (without bashing the **** into my forehead, thanks to an earlier how-to posting)

The new **** sat about an inch too high. I thought about slicing the shaft shorter, but then the old **** could never go back on. I solved the problem by drilling out the Momo from the bottom with a 11/32 drill and making the hole about an inch deeper. Now it fits nice and low, a bit lower than the OEM ****. Waddyathink?
