The items you need and installation instructions are shown on the following .pdf file.
The antenna adapter # GRE40EU10.
The last item is an antenna from Germany that works well. But I would remove the one you have, you can see where it is from the instruction sheet.
The two wires that you need require a connector pin on the end that snaps into the connector that plugs into the head unit. PM me if you want these.

Splicing the wires to the wires coming from the amplifier will be the hardest job, the actual job is 2 hour max. easy for me to say as bluecoupe did mine. You will of course need the two keys to remove the radio and a trim stick to remove the trim around the radio.
For the record my car is a 2004 and it came completely wired for the navigation unit except for the antenna of course. This was strange as nav was not an option that year, here anyway.
