Wow that is pretty impressive boost levels. I had a turbo car back in '79 but haven't messed with them since then and a lot has changed. I have always liked super chargers as they just make the engine feel mcuh larger but a turbo may be my best and only option. I am liking what i am reading about the rear mount turbo. Having the turbo where the muffler goes results in no extra heat under the hood and a much cooler charge. Many people have found they really don't need an intercooler but with one you can get very close to ambient temps. Seems like the real key to the rear mount is selecting the right turbo and sizing the pipes right. If I can get anywhre near the boost levels you mention, I will have quite a bit of power and torque. I think the 43AMG, 430 and 500 engines are better suited for forced induction because of their 10:1 compression vs. the 10.5 and latter 11:1 compression ratio of the n/a 55 AMG engines.
