Ok ,I heard this just yesterday that all Mercedes air intake engine covers on V-8s since 03 fit on our car ! They have larger intake pipes and filter boxes ,larger filters to let enough air in for the V-8s.
I'm going to try this simple mod to see how it might effect our V-6s .
Also i was told that MBenz uses this same box on most of their V-6 cars other than the old SLK.
