I want to thank this forum for answering the questions that I had before I purchased the X-Fire. I do, however, have one question pertaining to the top operation. Can you stop the top movement at any point when lowering it? Will this damage anything with the top mechanism? I got the feeling from the manuall that once you start lowering the top you should lower it completely until you hear the beep at the end of the sequence. Thanks!
Congrats and welcome to the Forum...you can stop the top at any point, but it will fully retract (at least mine did) after 15 minutes or so.
