I was able to solve my problem earlier today. I found that our projector lenses actually cut the beam of light in half and just use the lower portion of the beam for our low beams. After figuring that out, I decided to experiment and cut a new tab on the opposite side of the original H7 bulb (the tab is used for fitment into the projector) and sure enough that fixed the problem. I'll post some pictures later for reference. Owe, and thanks for the idea of the support being in the way!
